Timely and accurate registrations including but not limited to obtaining demographics information, complete benefit verifications by Alpha Split for Outpatient and Inpatient services, Calculations of Payment for Patient Portion due for services, Transfer of patient Services and providing insurance clearance for patient to hospital, Bed Control, crossed trained to cover any position in the Main Admission Department, Skilled Nursing Clearance, patient education (regarding benefits) and appropriate authorizations/clinicals for approved Oak Bend physicians for services rendered are the responsibility of the Central Patient Access Representative.
