Assists in lifting or placing patients onto and out of the transport conveyance, securing patient onto equipment, ensuring patient has identification band, and checking same to ensure correct patient is being transported. Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Transports patients, specimens, equipment and supplies throughout the Medical Center, utilizing stretchers, wheelchairs, beds, cardiac chairs and other transport equipment.
