Job Summary::
We are hiring a skilled Paving Equipment Operator to operate machinery used in the construction and maintenance of asphalt roads, parking lots, and other paved surfaces. This role requires safe and efficient operation of paving equipment such as asphalt pavers, rollers, skid steers, and backhoes. The ideal candidate has experience in road construction, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety.

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities::
<ul><li>Safely operate various types of heavy equipment including Mini excavators, Pavers, Skid steers, Backhoe and Paver, depending on the project needs</li><li>Perform daily equipment inspections, maintenance checks, and report issues promptly</li><li>Load, unload, and position equipment safely on job sites</li><li>Work with the paving crew to ensure even asphalt distribution, proper compaction, and smooth finish</li><li>Follow grade markers and layout specifications to achieve desired slope and thickness</li><li>Maintain control of speed, feed, and depth of material application</li><li>Assist with handwork or labor duties when equipment is not in use</li><li>Comply with all safety regulations, traffic control procedures, and company policies</li><li>Communicate clearly with crew members and foreman during paving operations</li><li>Perform additional duties as assigned</li></ul>

Position OverviewThe Common Laborer position is an integral part of the paving crew working with the entire team, foreman, and superintendent to ensure paving jobs are completed to high standards. The ideal candidate is familiar with physical labor and is able to perform tasks related to asphalt work in numerous settings and environments.
