Akron Children's Heart Center is a strong service line, composed of senior and junior faculty and currently comprises 2 congenital heart surgeons, 16 pediatric cardiologists (2 interventional cardiologists) and 8 advanced practice providers who provide a complete spectrum of coordinated, compassionate cardiac care to over 16,000 patients annually across 10 locations. A full range of cardiac services are offered in the Heart Center across the lifespan, including a dedicated, multi-acuity heart unit, single ventricle palliation, adult congenital heart disease care, and full-service interventional cardiology and electrophysiology programs.
