Performs and documents the following items in the electronic medical record: • Reason for visit • Chief complaint • History of present illness • Basic review of systems • Review systemic and ocular medications • Pharmacy information • Family, social, medical, and ocular history • Visual acuity at distance and near • Lensometry • Manual refraction • Confrontational fields • Humphrey visual fields • Virtual Reality (VR) visual fields • Amsler Grid visual fields • Tangent screen visual fields • Basic ocular motility • Pupillary evaluation • Ocular surface assessment • Eye drop administration • Intraocular pressure (such as Goldman, Tono-Pen, and I-Care) • Pachymetry • Insertion and removal of hard & soft contact lenses • Color vision test • Stereopsis test • Sensorimotor exam • Automated & manual perimetry. Under the direction of a physician, transcribe, in real time, a physician-patient encounter including, but not limited to, the patients medical history, physicians impression, patient care plan, results of tests, prescriptions, and orders.
