The physician will provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment of patients with acute and chronic wounds, develop individualized treatment plans, perform wound care procedures, and coordinate care with other medical specialties and healthcare professionals. The position may include privileges for the following wound care procedures, as appropriate to the physician’s training, experience, and hospital credentialing: Tissue biopsy, including tangential, punch, incisional, and excisional biopsy.
