Board certification in anatomic and/or clinical pathology • Fellowship training and board certification in Hematopathology • 3-5 years post-fellowship sign-out experience • Excellent working knowledge of histology, cytology, flow cytometry, and immunohistochemistry in the generation of hematopathology diagnoses • Familiarity with relevant laboratory techniques, including fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH), polymerase chain reaction (PCR), and cytogenetics (desired). The Hematopathologist will review and sign-out, consultation cases involving all areas of adult hematopathology, client-directed hematopathology testing, including 10-color flow cytometry, IHC, FISH, and PCR, material associated with contract research activities for biopharma, a growth area of PhenoPaths business.
