BASIC FUNCTION: Under general direction of the Director, Maintenance and Operations, flexibly plans, supervises, and participates in the operation and maintenance of a school auditorium, stadium, assembly hall, and/or other District facilities; oversees and participates in the safe use of the school stages, and auditoriums, and other District facilities for all District, school site, and outside functions; oversees and participates in the operation, safe use theatrical audio systems, computerized lighting boards and sets; oversees and and maintenance of modern theatrical stage equipment and sets; designs and executes participates in the maintenance of auditorium and Performing Arts Center, or outside seating areas, seats and drapes; oversees and performs general maintenance of District and school site facilities; insures that the rules and regulations adopted by the Board of Trustees are properly observed; supervises student employees and any assistants assigned; and oversees and performs other work as required. EXPERIENCE/TRAINING/EDUCATION: Any combination equivalent to: •Letter of interest, attention Mark Miller, Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources •A current resume •High School Diploma or highest degree earned •Three years of operating theatrical equipment plus one year in a leadership capacity.
