Performs a variety of natural resources conservation and preservation duties for assigned agency operations such as propagating, seeding, transplanting, cultivating, harvesting, and care of trees, flowers, shrubs, lawns, and crops, turf/grounds management, integrated pest management, herbicide/fertilizer application, layout and design, macroalgae harvesting, channel marking, debris management, and assessing soil composition and environmental conditions. Knowledge of staff supervision acquired through course work, academic training, training provided through an employer, or performing as a lead worker overseeing the work of others; OR supervising staff which may include planning, assigning, reviewing, and evaluating the work of others; OR supervising through subordinate supervisors a group of professional, technical, and clerical employees.
