POSITION DESCRIPTION: Takeda Development Center Americas, Inc. is seeking a Research Associate II, Oncology Drug Discovery Unit with the following duties: design, execute, and troubleshoot complex experiments in oncology, applying molecular biology, biochemistry, and cell biology techniques (e.g., DNA/RNA extraction, PCR, cloning, flow cytometry, ELISA, western blotting); design and execute small-molecule discovery and characterization studies, including high-throughput drug screening and hit validation; perform cell-based proliferation assays and other in vitro models to assess compound potency and mechanism of action. Prior experience must include: perform Molecular Biology Techniques (DNA/RNA Extraction, PCR, Cloning and Transfection); apply flow cytometry to analyze immune cell phenotypes and receptor binding; design and execute cell-based functional assays; develop and optimize laboratory protocols and troubleshoot experiments; prepare scientific reports, present findings, and collaborate in cross-functional teams; assay development: optimize transfection protocol and troubleshoot the Experiment.
