The Pharmacy Technician is responsible for supporting pharmacological services for the In-Office Dispensary (IOD) by stocking, assembling, and distributing medications. We deliver a cohesive approach to urologic care that provides patients with access to experienced specialists, a superb team of healthcare professionals, and the most advanced technology for patient treatments and therapies.

li>Communicates with caregivers regarding responsibilities, identified concerns, and participates in quality and patient safety initiatives, identifying potential safety hazards that may create problems for patients and/or staff and takes appropriate actions to escalate items to the pharmacist for review as appropriate based on urgency, regulations, and scope.
ul> Proactively uses data analysis techniques to track, monitor, and communicate the clinical quality, operational, and financial outcomes of assigned areas and to benchmark performance against internal targets and against local and national best practices.

Underdirect supervision of the Pharmacist, Pharmacy Technicians perform a varietyof pharmacy-related functions including the preparation and distribution of medications, inventory control, compliance audits, financial transactions, and maintenance of pharmacy records. Final compensation will be determined based on your qualifications including years of experience performing similar work, level of formal education in a relevant field of study, and any professional certifications related to the position.
li>Supporting access to care and helping to improve patient outcomes through pharmacist delivered clinical care such as testing and prescribing services (e.g., COVID/Flu, Hormonal Contraception, etc.) where permissible; empowers the pharmacy team to provide holistic care at every step in the patient care journey.

Verify new medication against existing medication and patient profile to ensure that there are no-drug or drug disease interactions prior to filling prescription.
