Depending on area of assignment, the Staff Pharmacist may be required to complete the following tasks: direct patient interactions such as medication and disease state education counseling, minor lab procedures and interpret lab results, administer immunizations, and work according to approved health system protocols. Leads and directs pharmacy technicians, non-pharmacist support personnel, students, and interns to ensure daily pharmacy operations are completed in an accurate, timely, appropriate and efficient manner.
