Under the direction of the Home Hospital Pharmacy Director, the Pharmacy Technician Specialist for Home Hospital will follow established policies and procedures to perform a variety of highly advanced strategic, quality focused, and distribution support tasks that are integral to the success of the Home Hospital pharmacy operation. Pharmacy Technician duties include filling routine drug orders for unit dose medications, refilling medications in Pharmacy Automated Dispensing Cabinets, performing Non-Sterile and Sterile Compounding . Other duties include repackaging of medication into unit dose barcoded packages, replenishes code carts drug supply and performs inventory duties for the Central Pharmacy operation.
