The successful candidate is a strong multi-tasker, independent worker, and collaborative team player who demonstrates excellent communication skills, attention to detail, professionalism, and the ability to work effectively with veterinarians, nurses, students, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals. Knowledge normally acquired from specialized training in a pharmacy technician program; one to three years of progressively more responsible or more expansive work experience in a pharmacy setting, including familiarity with insurance requirements (for non-veterinary pharmacies), and computer and math skills; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
