The PT role extends beyond traditional clinic-based therapy, with treatment focused on functional mobility, community reintegration, independence, and helping individuals return to meaningful home, work, school, and community activities. Physical Therapists work collaboratively with Occupational Therapy, Speech-Language Pathology, neuropsychology, counseling, recreational therapy, and other rehabilitation professionals to develop individualized treatment plans.
