Required Qualifications: Degree in Physical Therapy; active license or plans to obtain a license as a physical therapist in the state of practice; ability to evaluate and treat patients, maintain required skills and certifications, complete accurate patient documentation, make independent patient-care decisions, and use computer systems necessary for job duties; ability to walk, sit, stand, bend, lift objects weighing over 50 pounds, push wheelchairs, assist with patient transfers, and support patient mobility and safety. Additional Information: Responsibilities include implementing rehabilitation programs, guiding and monitoring patient care, communicating with physicians and other healthcare professionals, supervising physical therapist assistants and aides, coordinating with front-office staff regarding scheduling and follow-up, and maintaining accurate evaluations, reports, discharge summaries, prescriptions, test results, and authorization documentation.
