Responsibilities Evaluates and treats patients in need of occupational therapy services and participates in and provides all necessary components of this responsibility, including: • Completion of proper evaluation • Creation of a treatment plan • Completion of treatment sessions per established treatment plans • Producing appropriate documentation and billing in compliance with all third-party payor and regulatory guidelines • Providing oversight and supervision of certified occupational therapist assistants and other support personnel • Completing appropriate communication with all patients, caregivers, fellow staff, and referring providers, clinicians. Licenses Certifications Licensed to practice Occupational Therapy in the state of Iowa as defined in the Iowa Occupational Therapy Regulation and Practice Act BLS Certification Valid drivers license when driving any vehicle for work-related reasons.
