Key Responsibilities • Provide high-quality, evidence-based care to adult and geriatric patients, including history taking, physical exams, diagnosis, treatment planning, and patient education • Order and interpret appropriate labs, imaging, and referrals; perform procedures within scope of practice • Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing staff, care coordinators, and specialists to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care • Support care coordination activities, including follow-up on results, referrals, and chronic disease management • Document accurately and timely in the electronic medical record, ensuring appropriate coding and compliance • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, population health efforts, and practice workflow optimization • Maintain professionalism, regulatory compliance, and active participation in provider meetings and trainings. Education & Licensure Nurse Practitioner: Master's degree from an accredited nursing program Physician Assistant: Graduation from an accredited PA program Active Maryland license (or ability to obtain) Current DEA license and Maryland Controlled Dangerous Substance (CDS) license (or ability to obtain) Current BLS certification (American Heart Association or approved provider) (or ability to obtain) Unrestricted license with no history of suspension or revocation Eligible for participation with all payers.
