Trauma Level: Facility Specific Job Notes: **Required Experience:** - 2+ Years of Experience - Post-operative open-heart care experience - Chest tube and other drain management Experience - Pre- and post-procedure care for patients with radial and femoral access - Proficiency in cardiac monitoring, including reading and interpreting cardiac rhythm strips and recognizing and responding to changes in cardiac rhythms - Advanced knowledge of cardiac and pulmonary abnormalities - Experience with assisting with chest tube removal, removal of pericardial pacing wires, management of temporary pacers (pericardial and transcutaneous devices), and use and troubleshooting of non-invasive ventilation (NIV) devices, high-flow oxygen, and other oxygen delivery systems **Highly Preferred Experience:** - Critical Care Experience **Required Skills:** - Must float to all units within skill level **Required Certifications:** - Active American Heart Association BLS - Active American Heart Association ACLS **Required Licensure:** - Active Ohio/OH or Compact RN License, as shown in Nursys **Additional Requirements:** - Skills Checklist, current to 1 year, pertinent to the specialty (PCU).
