The Denver Health system also includes the Rocky Mountain Regional Level I Trauma Center, Denver's 911 emergency medical response system, 15 school-based health centers, the Rocky Mountain Poison and Drug Center, the Denver Public Health Department, and the Denver Health Lean Academy. The inpatient service, comprised of a faculty attending, one of our 15 University of Colorado GI fellows, and frequently a medicine resident, medical student, or a Physician's Assistant student, provides consultations and performs procedures for patients on the medicine and surgery wards and in the ICUs.
