Coordinates referrals including but not limited to obtaining referral authorization/precertification, scheduling appointments with specialists, accumulating, correlating and faxing all relevant information to specialist and tracking all related correspondence regarding those referrals. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Excellent interpersonal skills: ability to speak with patients, insurance companies and specialist offices to coordinate care for UMCP patients.
