With minimal supervision and independent operation when on the Mobile Stroke Unit, is responsible for performing I-stats, pregnancy tests, starting IV's, scanning patients in a safe and efficient manner, Injecting IV contrast, preparing oral contrast, completing all associated paperwork and computer work, and discharging the patient from the Mobile Stroke Unit. Additional duties may include working on special projects, such as new equipment evaluations and assisting in the design of areas where clinical equipment will be installed, or assignment to departmental and prehospital committees.
