The Neurocritical Care APP (Advanced Practice Provider), under established guidelines and in collaboration and/or supervision with practice physician(s), will perform routine physical and neurologic examinations, admit patients to the neurocritical care unit and perform core ICU procedures including central and arterial line placement, lumbar punctures, flexible bronchoscopy, and intubation. The APP will operate under high autonomy, provide independent billing at night, and collaborate closely with NCCU/SICU nurses and techs, Neurosurgery APPs, and Surgical and Medical Intensive Care providers.
