Responsibilities include: Assist Press Operators during production runsStage and transport paper rolls, inks, coatings, and production materialsSupport press setups, changeovers, and make-ready activitiesMonitor print quality and identify basic printing defectsRemove defective material and perform roll splicing according to specificationsHandle finished rolls and palletize products to prevent damagePerform basic preventative maintenance and equipment upkeepLubricate equipment and assist with troubleshooting production issuesOperate forklifts, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment as neededRecord production information and complete required documentationSupport safety, quality, and productivity goals throughout the department. Printing pressroom experience, offset printing preferredManufacturing, warehouse, or machine operation experienceForklift, Pallet Jack, Clamp truck experienceMechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilityExperience with machine setups, changeovers, or preventative maintenanceAbility to work independently and demonstrate initiativeStrong work ethic and attention to detail.
