Additional Requirements: Experience with arterial line management, care of patients on ECMO, ventilated patient care, central line management, continuous IV sedation, interpretation of arterial blood gases (ABGs), management of dysrhythmias, multisystem organ failure, nurse-driven ECMO protocols, PICC line management, post-cardiac surgery care, pulmonary artery line/Swan Ganz monitoring, titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips, adherence to isolation precautions and PPE protocols. Additional Information: Staff to support patients with interdisciplinary teams including IV, respiratory, pharmacy, and rapid response; daily census of 7 patients; unit equipped for advanced cardiovascular procedures.
