Job Responsibilities: 1.Teach brass instruments (trumpet, french horn, trombone, tuba, and baritone) skills and music literacy at age appropriate levels 2.Must have the ability to teach beginning brass instruments (trumpet, french horn, trombone, tuba, and baritone) 3.Differentiate for students of varying abilities 4.Collaborate with Community Education staff, parents and building faculty to coordinate lessons 5.Must complete a CORI check. Qualifications: 1.Bachelors or Masters degree or equivalent with a major in Music 2.Excellent communication skills and capacity to foster cooperative teamwork 3.State licensure as music educator (preferred) 4.Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Community Education Director may find appropriate and acceptable.
