Additional responsibilities include translating foreign language material using publicly available tools, maintaining compliance with approved information-sharing procedures, and supporting departmental missions such as counterterrorism, critical infrastructure protection, cybersecurity, border security, disaster response, and countering exploitation crimes. Duties include maintaining a portfolio of threat profiles, activities, and trends from open-source, agency, commercial, and dark web sources; developing and refining OSINT targeting and exploitation techniques; and participating in exercises through analysis, scenario development, and briefings to leadership.
