General Statement of Job: Performs difficult technical and administrative work within Recreation Services, with primary responsibility for coordinating the maintenance, repair, operational readiness, facility condition, and facility-related projects associated with Recreation Services diverse portfolio of parks, recreation centers, and facilities used for programming within aquatics, athletics, tennis and racquet sports, golf and other assigned recreational assets. Coordinates Recreation Services facility projects with the City-wide Facilities Manager, Municipal Services, Engineering, Procurement, Finance, and other City departments, referring major building-system, structural, capital, and citywide projects to the City-wide Facilities Manager on City-wide procurement opportunities and economies of scale, where appropriate.
