What you will do in this role: Deliver supplies in an accurate and timely mannerIs authorized to transport and deliver legend drugs, non-prescription drugs, contrast media and drug-containing devices relative to core competencies of the positionPlace safety stock in proper locationReceive expedited deliveries, accurately key receiving into the SMART system, and deliver to appropriate department(s)Receive all cross-docked items into the SMART system as appropriateReview Min/Max for storeroom safety stock daily and place orders appropriatelyCount par level areas (POU areas) weekly according to scheduleEnsure POU items have the appropriate barcodesPerform QA random checks on totes per approved policyRotate stock in POU areas and backup storeroom areas to ensure no items are out of dateCheck after-hour logs for charges and determine how to avoid reoccurrenceReact appropriately to POU "critical point" messages and stock outsProcess all "returns to vendor" or "returns to backup stock" appropriatelyProvide assistance to the POU Station personnel as well as provide assistance with problems, questions and concerns at the nurses stations What qualifications you will need: High School Graduate / GEDPrevious stock clerk experience PreferredSome hospital supply experience PreferredBenefits Grand Strand Medical Center, offers a total rewards package that supports the health, life, career and retirement of our colleagues.
