Under general directive supervision, perform assigned operating, regulating and adjusting duties, as well as maintenance, electrical, and instrument and controls work on Simple Cycle electric generating units, auxiliaries and miscellaneous station equipment, to perform assigned switching operations on station or substation equipment, to oversee and direct the activities of other employees and contractors, to train and instruct assigned employees, and to perform other related work. Perform in connection with assigned tasks, the necessary operating, regulating, adjusting, preventative and corrective maintenance to maintain proper output of combustion turbines, proper control of water flows, pressures, temperatures, and fuel consumption, including the operation or check of operation of pumps, fans, ignition systems, and other related auxiliary and accessory equipment to insure maximum efficiency and correct output of the units.
