The Production Shift Supervisor coordinates plant activities during the assigned shift, provides leadership to Production personnel, and supports the Production Coordinator, plant leadership, Maintenance, Quality, Logistics, Traffic, and other departments by investigating and resolving production issues, responding to abnormal conditions, enforcing safety and environmental requirements, protecting equipment, and maintaining operational continuity. Conduct an effective shift turnover with the incoming supervisor and communicate equipment status, active work, LOTOTO conditions, environmental concerns, quality issues, production constraints, maintenance activities, contractor work, and other significant plant conditions.
