This position requires close collaboration with program specialists and engineers across disciplines—including industrial engineering, product engineering, feasibility, logistics, workplace integration (WPI), tooling, and ergonomics/safety—and incorporates operator feedback to visualize and validate future operations and product builds, enabling planning teams to make informed decisions early when changes are cost effective. Key responsibilities include conducting realistic virtual assembly trials and virtual design reviews (VDRs) by validating workstation processes, and tooling kinematics through use of Siemens Process Simulate, motion capture, and virtual reality tools to simulate operators of varying anthropometric percentiles and evaluate reach, vision, and clearance for consistent job performance across the workforce.
