Working as a critical leader within a production team, support the achievement of set production targets and customer expectations by providing the appropriate level of leadership, supervision, and training/development to the people assigned within your shift and/or department, as well as the expected level of oversight to the equipment, systems, resources, and facilities under your control. Establishing work schedules and managing to planned and unplanned employee levels, providing hands-on coverage as needed, providing for, and making request of appropriate levels of support, supply and materials, and utilizing the manufacturing resource planning (MRP) systems to timely communicate production data.
