The successful candidate will develop and teach art courses for students from all NJIT majors, including courses proposed for inclusion in the university General Education Requirements; help shape and implement Arts@NJIT, a campus-wide initiative supported by a generous alumni gift; and serve as a visible advocate, resource, and connector for art across the university. We welcome art generalists and interdisciplinary artist-educators whose work may engage drawing, painting, printmaking, sculpture, photography, installation, performance, socially engaged or public practice, sound and time-based work, digital or computational media, creative coding, AI-enabled or AI-critical practice, extended reality, fabrication, or hybrid forms.
