Desired Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: Skill in effective communication (both written and oral); skill in independent decision making; skill in performing a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another of a different nature; skill in problem solving; knowledge of dental clinic administrative procedures and practices; knowledge of computer and different computer programs, including an electronic health record; knowledge of customer service principles and practices; knowledge of HIPAA, OSHA, and Infection Control policies and protocols; ability to accurately gather data and compile reports essential to student success; ability to ensure the confidentiality, availability, and integrity of sensitive [student, employee, financial, business, etc.] information by exercising sound judgment and adhering to cybersecurity and privacy policies during employment and beyond. The University currently offers the degrees of Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine, Doctor of Physical Therapy, Doctor of Dental Medicine, Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences, and Master of Science in Occupational Therapy enrolling over 550 students annually.
