The 35-bed Med Surg/Tele unit maintains a busy but team-oriented culture, supported by a robust interdisciplinary team including CNAs, unit secretaries, charge nurses, a PICC team, discharge nurses, resource team, respiratory therapy, hospitalists, intensivists, and a central telemetry monitoring unit available around the clock. • Additional unit equipment includes VS3 vital sign monitors, portable vital signs monitors, bladder scanners, portable oxygen systems, external fixators, chest tubes, JP drains, Hemovac drains, Glucommander, PCA pain management, and suction machines.
