In the event of any absence of the Director, including but not necessarily limited to major illness, termination, resignation, or other factors in which a director is not available, the Assistant Director will assume the duties of the Unit Director for an interim period, until the position has been filled or the situation has been resolved. POSITION SUMMARY: The Assistant Director has multiple roles and functions including caregiver, decision maker, client advocate, manager, rehabilitator, comforter, communicator, and teacher.
