Reporting to the Assistant Dean of Undergraduate Research, Innovation, and Experiential Learning, the Assistant Director coordinates undergraduate research programs and events, supports students seeking research opportunities, develops partnerships with faculty and campus units, oversees student employees and student leadership teams, and contributes to the development of new initiatives that expand access to undergraduate research and other high-impact learning experiences. The position will play a central role in programs including the Undergraduate Research Scholar Awards, Undergraduate Research Week, Undergraduate Research Match Day, the Patti Henry Pinch Scholarship for Undergraduate Research, the Provost's Award for Faculty Excellence in Undergraduate Research Mentoring, and other undergraduate research initiatives.
