During the construction phase: Conducts construction quality kick-off meeting Participation in the selection and evaluation of independent testing laboratories to support the project construction phase Develops budgets, administers contracts, as well as monitors scheduled activities, such as reports, field activities, tests, and inspections on all agencies contracted Distributes test results to appropriate design and QA team members Finalizes the remaining quality risks with well-developed mitigation plans In conjunction with the Project Manager and Superintendent ensures all precons required by the QIP are conducted Ensures that all first work in place inspections are scheduled and conducted Also monitors the progress of all required corrective measures Ensures in cooperation with Design Principal, Project Manager, and Superintendent that all site observations are conducted Performs all assigned QA inspections, prepares reports, documents deficiencies, and monitors the progress of deficiency correction.
