Principal responsibilities include translating customer, market, and product requirements into robust mechanical designs, driving engineering definition through CAD/PLM systems, and resolving complex technical problems while collaborating across Manufacturing, Quality, Sourcing, Tendering, and Service teams to deliver reliable, manufacturable, and cost-effective solutions. Technical accountability: Take responsibility for mechanical design definition, tolerance analysis, manufacturability, serviceability, and design documentation for new or improved products, applying engineering judgment to trade-offs.
