3. Establishes programs and coordinates such programs for providing preventive maintenance and equipment monitoring including the management of boilers, chillers, UST's, maintenance contracts, air and water balancing, pneumatic and electrical controls, oxygen deliveries, maintenance, steam trap testing and repair, main valve testing, and general service of a variety of air conditioning, refrigeration units, and general utility systems, including all mechanical, plumbing, sprinkler and med gas equipment. Manages the programs and work efforts of the Plumbing and Mechanical Sections and Plant Operations staff responsible for the maintenance, installation, and repair of heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), mechanical equipment, refrigeration, plumbing, piping, fire sprinkler, medical gas, tube, and power plant systems.
