<h5>Technical Content Writer </h5>We are seeking a Technical Content Writer to produce high-quality content that simplifies complex concepts for a broad audience. This role involves collaborating with subject matter experts and cross-functional teams to create documentation, articles, guides, andother materials that support users and improve understanding of products or services. Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Write, edit, and proofread content such as blogs, whitepapers, case studies, product documentation, and user guides </li><li>Translate complex concepts into clear, user-friendly language </li><li>Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather accurate information </li><li>Conduct research on industry-related topics and trends </li><li>Optimize content for SEO, AEO, GEO and digital platforms </li><li>Maintain consistency in tone, style, and branding across all content </li><li>Update existing content to ensure accuracy and relevance </li><li>Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines </li><li>Create reports as required for KPI tracking </li><li>Collaborate with web design team to design and maintain company website </li><li>Support social profiles including LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube </li><li>Maintain, expand and catalog project photography collection </li><li>Manage company info box questions & leads </li><li>Perform other job duties as assigned </li></ul>This is a full-time, exempt position. We are seeking a talented Paralegal to join our team as a pivotal member that would play a key role here at PBF Energy. This role would be located onsite at our Martinez Refinery in Martinez, CA. The Paralegal position will support the Martinez Refinery’s Managing Counsel with discovery, production, litigation and regulatory matters, records management, and other support as needed across our network of refineries. PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES: The Paralegal will specifically assist the Managing Counsel and other PBF attorneys as follows: Independently performs legal research and legal writing. Provides litigation assistance to attorneys and outside counsel, including drafting of legal briefs, motions, correspondence; prepares and organizes exhibits, documents, memoranda, reports, and correspondence relating to cases. Manages discovery and evidence in electronic and hard copy formats. Maintains technical proficiency with eDiscovery software, data management, and legal workflows. Manages electronically stored information (ESI) during prelitigation, litigation, and investigative stages. Assist in collecting, processing, reviewing, and producing large volumes of ESI. Administer matter management and legal hold processes, including drafting and distributing notices. Assist with data analytics and generative AI tools that assist in eDiscovery. Assist with the preparation and/or review of documents, creating initial drafts of form agreements and other documents for review by Managing Counsel; proofreading documents prepared by Managing Counsel. Review of invoices for compliance with billing guidelines. Assist with records retention and document productions. Performs other duties for Managing Counsel, such as scheduling meetings, distributing information, and drafting routine correspondence. Maintains Managing Counsel’s files of correspondence and legal documents. Track court deadlines, filings, and other important dates. Other duties, as assigned by the Managing Counsel, Associate General Counsel, or General Counsel. JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience. 3+ yrs. experience working at a law firm or in-house, regulatory Health, Safety, and Environmental and/or litigation experience preferred. PBF Energy (“PBF”) is one of the largest independent petroleum refiners and suppliers of unbranded transportation fuels, heating oil, petrochemical feedstocks, lubricants and other petroleum products in the United States.
PBF currently owns and operates six domestic oil refineries and related assets with a combined processing capacity, known as throughput, of over 1,000,000 bpd, and a weighted average Nelson Complexity Index of 12.8.
PBF Energy’s refineries are located in California, Delaware, Louisiana, New Jersey and Ohio. Our newest refinery is located in Martinez, California and processes a blend of domestic and international feedstocks to produce a high-value product slate. Martinez has a nameplate crude capacity of 157,000 barrels per day with a Nelson Complexity of 16.1.  PBF’s other California refinery is located in Torrance, California and processes a blend of primarily heavy and medium crudes to produce a high-value product slate.  The Torrance refinery has a nameplate crude capacity of 155,000 barrels per day with a Nelson Complexity index of 14.9.  The Chalmette refinery was acquired by PBF Energy in 2015 and is located just outside of New Orleans, Louisiana. Chalmette is a 189,000 barrel per day, dual-train coking refinery with a Nelson Complexity of 12.7 and is capable of processing both light and heavy crude oil. The facility is strategically positioned on the Gulf Coast with strong logistics connectivity that offers flexible raw material sourcing and product distribution opportunities, including the potential to export products.  Our East Coast refineries, at Delaware City and Paulsboro, have a combined refining capacity of 370,000 bpd and Nelson Complexity Indices of 11.3 and 13.2, respectively. These high-conversion refineries process primarily medium and heavy, sour crudes and have historically received the bulk of their feedstock via ships and barges on the Delaware River but have the capability to receive crude shipments via rail into crude rail unloading facilities at our Delaware City refinery. Our Midcontinent refinery, at Toledo, processes light, sweet crude, has a throughput capacity of 170,000 bpd and a Nelson Complexity Index of 9.2. The majority of Toledo’s WTI-based crude is delivered via pipelines that originate in both Canada and the United States. Since our acquisition of Toledo in 2011, we have added additional truck and rail crude unloading capabilities that provide feedstock sourcing flexibility for the refinery and enables Toledo to run a more cost-advantaged crude slate.
