You will join a team of maintenance professionals whose responsibilities include:<ul><li>Performing in-unit repairs, preventative maintenance, and preparing apartments for new resident occupancy.</li><li>Completing work orders, including light electrical, plumbing, and carpentry work, appliance repair, and general building maintenance.</li><li>Providing access to and supervising contractors as needed.</li><li>Performing groundskeeping, snow removal, janitorial work, and maintenance of exterior and common areas.</li><li>Updating the Yardi mobile app and communicating with the team about the status of ongoing projects. </li></ul>The work hours are 8:30am-4:30pm, Monday-Friday, with on-call duties shared on rotation. Actual pay will vary based on a candidate's skill, experience, education and/or location. </li><li>Up to $100 per month car allowance for eligible employees.</li><li style="font-weight:400">More benefits and company perks information below.</li></ul>Essential Job Functions<ul><li>Complete maintenance tasks and projects as assigned, traveling between multiple worksites each day within the assigned market. </li><li>Create a welcoming environment for our guests and owners by ensuring our homes are well maintained with general repairs, preventative maintenance and inspections.</li><li>Respond to guest issues regarding maintenance, as needed including but not limited to appliance troubleshooting, cable/wifi troubleshooting, basic HVAC repair and light plumbing.</li><li>Coordinate completion of owner-approved maintenance through creation and delegation of maintenance and housekeeping tickets.</li><li>Negotiate, and maintain working relationships with third-party vendors.</li><li>Meet and maintain company standards and metrics such as guest or owner satisfaction, accuracy, efficiency, and annual cost.</li><li>Be part of an on-call coverage rotation within the maintenance team to address urgent issues.</li><li>Establish and maintain open and regular communication and collaborative relationships with team members and management team.</li><li>Be available and willing to assist your colleagues and management team and provide cross-coverage in other roles as needed to address urgent issues. </li><li>Maintain hot tubs as needed - we offer on-site training.</li><li>Collect and remove trash and debris.</li><li>Ensure follow through on assigned maintenance tasks using in-house assignment systems and respond to time-sensitive maintenance needs.</li><li>Coordinate with third-party service providers.</li><li>Other duties as assigned because every day is different in hospitality!</li></ul>Skills + Qualifications<ul><li>Experience working in hotel, hospitality, vacation or similar industry is highly preferred.</li><li>2 years of basic property maintenance experience is highly preferred.</li><li>Working knowledge of basic appliance repair, electrical systems, plumbing repair, HVAC repair, painting, and carpentry skills</li><li>Tech-savvy with experience using various digital systems and applications and comfortable using mobile apps, tablets, and various software platforms.</li><li>Excellent time management skills with the ability to change activity frequently and cope with interruptions.</li><li>Highly responsive and reliable. </li><li>This role involves frequent travel between worksites, so reliable personal transportation is essential.</li><li>Dependable and prepared.
