CONTROL BOOTH OPERATORSalary: $32,025.00 per yearREPORTS TO:Shift Supervisor, Operations Manager, and/or Facility Administrator SUPERVISES:N/AMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:Education and Experience:Any combination of education and experience that has been achieved and is equivalent to the stated education and experience and required knowledge, skills, abilities sufficient to successfully perform the duties and responsibilities of this job as required by the Texas Juvenile Justice Department, to include a high school diploma or GED.Licenses, Certificates, and ExperienceMust be over twenty-one (21) years of age (for state certification requirements);Current Texas Driver's License and must have current automobile insurance; Ability to communicate effectively (reading, writing, and understanding) in English; bilingual is preferred;Pre-Employment Background ChecksAble to submit to a drug urinalysis pre-screening exam and pass a criminal background check. If the candidate for employment does have a criminal record, it must be cleared through the requirements as set forth by the Texas Juvenile Justice Department; Must be able to pass a background check with the Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS)TYPICAL DUTIESMaintain Facility main entry electronic log utilizing the Guardian On Demand System: all significant events; including but not limited to resident status; assigned staff, facility entry and exiting; logging operational information pertaining to assigned staff and or visitors, interns, contract, or volunteers.
