The Psychiatry Department at HUMC offers focused, evidence-based treatments for their patients (e.g., CBT, DBT, ACT, etc.), and the hired psychologist is expected to play a significant role in facilitating this delivery, including training and supervising junior clinical staff in these approaches. In general, the Psychologist will serve as a member of an interdisciplinary healthcare team for the purpose of optimizing whole-person health and wellness, and will independently diagnose and treat behavioral health disorders and aspects of psychological adjustment.
