Monitor patient safety and maintain awareness of patient location and condition at all times • Conduct and document safety rounds and close observations per policy • Assist with admissions and discharges, including belongings search and documentation • Support implementation of individualized treatment plans • Observe, document, and report changes in behavior, mood, and physical condition • Utilize approved de-escalation techniques to manage behavioral concerns • Follow all policies related to crisis intervention, seclusion, and restraint • Assist patients with activities of daily living, including hygiene and personal care • Obtain and record vital signs and other assigned clinical data • Complete required documentation accurately and timely (flow sheets, observation records, detox monitoring) • Support therapeutic groups, structured activities, and meal supervision • Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment. • High school diploma or GED required • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Human Services, or related field preferred • Previous experience in behavioral health, psychiatric care, substance use treatment, or healthcare preferred • CPR certification required (or willingness to obtain) • Handle With Care - Safe Physical Management certification required (or willingness to obtain) • Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills • Ability to remain calm and professional in high-stress situations.
