Responsibilities may include disseminating scholarly work through peer-reviewed publications and professional presentations; pursuing internal and external funding, as appropriate; involving students in research and scholarly activities; and developing collaborative relationships within the university and with community, healthcare, governmental, or public health organizations. The successful candidate is expected to engage actively in the academic community through teaching, in-person office hours, student advising and mentoring, research and scholarly collaboration, and participation in departmental, college, and university meetings and committees.
