Work involves constant observation, verbal communication, walking, bicycling, running, climbing stairs, and standing; frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching, pushing, pulling and lifting up to 100 pounds, and operating a motor vehicle. Linfield Public Safety personnel are considered "essential employee positions" with the university and are subject to work during emergency incidents and closing of the university or its campuses, in addition to institutional holidays and break periods.
