Procurement Assistant Director Job Responsibilities:Manage the competitive bid processes for purchases as assigned, including sourcing goods and services, evaluating bids, and negotiating contractsIdentify opportunities for cost savings through competitive bidding, bulk purchasing, and vendor consolidationPerform bid analysis, reporting, and benchmarking for internal partners, as neededBuild relationships with key internal stakeholders and suppliers to identify opportunities for improvement, drive best practices, ensure procurement compliance, and manage issuesAssist in the management of the supplier master database, to include monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting and close processes, as well as scheduled review and clean-up tasksCoordinate with internal partners in Accounting, Finance, and other Administrative Services to ensure procurement process compliance, triage incoming requests, and troubleshoot any PO and payment issuesOther duties as assigned **Only those lawfully authorized to work in the designated country associated with the position will be considered.** Required Education:High School Diploma or EquivalentPreferred Education:Bachelor’s DegreeRequired Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:Must be adept in ExcelMust have excellent written communication skillsMinimum of 3+ years of strategic procurement and/or financial analysis experience in an organization of comparable or larger sizeAbility to meet deadlines while under time constraintsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to apply critical thinking skills to solve problems and bring new ideas to the processExperience in a Windows environment with emphasis on Microsoft ExcelPreferred Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:Experience with Oracle Cloud Financials and Purchasing systemExperience with the Zip procurement orchestration toolProcurement Assistant Director Job Summary:This position is primarily responsible for sourcing, contract management, and spend management for assigned groups within the National Office.
