Your responsibilities will include:Procurement planning during the bidding phaseUnderstanding contract specifications and bills of material Sourcing, identifying, and prequalifying vendors Developing comprehensive RFP'sAnalyzing multiple quotes (scope leveling) Vendor Matrix ; working with project and engineering team to confirm completeness of scope of service and supplyNegotiating and finalizing agreements Developing the Procurement PlanPost award, managing plan implementationPost award procurement planning and implementation on major projects and programs,Transferring bid phase documents and knowledge to the project team Engaging with the project team on procurement planning & implementation Capturing and communicating market intelligence across projects & programsUnderstanding, evaluating, and incorporating current market conditions into procurement plans, including but not limited to: Pricing trendsLead times and logistical requirements Best value opportunitiesAlternative products opportunities (Material cost/Labor savings) Evolving contract compliance requirementsReading, understanding, and interpreting contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work and project schedules. Working closely with the core Program/Project teams to manage high visibility and high value programs, applying program/project management skills to assure the timely and efficient execution of MC Dean's portfolio of projects.
